Tools

	Drying and Storage One important tool that is not actually a tool is the drying and storage for your lumber.
	Chainsaw The chainsaw plays many roles in the woodworkers shop, from felling trees to making boards, the chainsaw is our first choice for much of the timber work we do.
	Bandsaw We use a bandsaw to strip down small logs and round bowl blanks before turning. We made a custom sled to keep the logs from rolling during milling.
	Alaskan Sawmill We recently got an alaskan sawmill to help us turn logs into boards, it works well but takes a bit of time. The next step is a larger saw so we can create larger boards.
	Wood Lathe and Turning Tools These are the work horse of the shop. Without these none of the products that are made would be possible.
	Bench Grinder and Sharpening System As the turning tools are used they become dull and do not cut well. The bench grinder is outfitted with an Aluminum Oxide wheel on the left and a CBN diamond wheel on the right. These in conjunction with the sharpening jig allows a consistant angle and sharp edge on the turning tools.
